So, bleed_glitter and I were pondering EyeCon in Orlando (OMGSQUEESPAZHOOKAY). I know there are a bunch of people on my flist thinking about or planning on going. I have a snazzy poll for you to fill out because I kind of want to get a feel for whose going and what we're all doing.

My Backstreet Boys finally delivered.

I was so worried about Unbreakable after Never Gone's mess of their sound. But, this is GOOD. Very old-Backstreet with heavy harmonies and good dance music. Plus, they finally went forward and picked something fresh and used some synth beats that are becoming so popular in pop (ha!) musoc a la the new Britney album.

Plus, JC! Finally my dreams come true. Nick/JC OTP!

I bring it for my BSB fans on the flist who haven't heard it yet (where are all of you? I know you people were there before lol) and anyone else who wants a gander a solid pop record. I had to do it YSI, because I'm kind. Fast download time, multiple downloads at once, no waiting for the next one like megaupload, rapidshare, or sendspace. Downside is the bandwidth and expiration date (a week). I did a sendspace mirror too, just in case one of the YSI links go down for bandwidth :)

As a female, I have to formally announce that for the most part I am ashamed of my gender. I always forget how annoying girls are because the ones I associate with are not "typical girls." But today, oh today, walking around campus. I swear to god, I was a half-step from clubbing some hos, true story.

I made a list of all the things I've seen TODAY ALONE that piss me off about girls:
1. Girls in shorts so short there is no possible way out of a camel toe. I have the overwhelming urge to walk up and yell, "WHERE ARE THE REST OF YOUR PANTS, ASSTARD!"

2. Girls who can't walk in heels but wear them around anyway. Strutting is sexy, wobbling - well, not so much.

3. "Punk" kids who are label queens. The entire point of punk philosophy is anti-establishment. I hate seeing girls wearing a Sex Pistols tee shirt...and Dior shades. There is nothing punk about 400 dollar sunglasses.

4. Every single female professor I have is from Texas (one male too) that's a gripe in and of itself.

5. Girls who parade around on their cell phone bitching about the stupidest shit. I don't care if your roommate is a whore!

6. Girls with annoying voices who parade around on cell phones.

7. The sperm eyebrow. If your eyebrows resemble male reproductive cells, STOP PLUCKING, MORON! That, and the super thin eyebrow that's drawn in. You are not a drag queen, you have a vagina, why look like one?

8. Girls who OVERdress. Yes, put an outfit together, that's great. When you have on 14 necklaces, 6 bracelets, a pair of earrings rivaling the Rock of Gibraltor in size with huge shades, a headband, 3 tanktops, a skirt, and high heels...it's time to stop and take something off.

9. Chicks who don't wear bras. No boobs or big ones. PUT ON A FUCKING BRA! The last thing I want to see coming at me is a pair of nipples. Especially since I'm short, I come up to a lot of nipples. Don't put my eye out.

10. If you're related to me, you belong in this spot as a general female grievance.

So, I wax poetic on the brilliance of The Used...a lot. And, it's come to my attention that some people have never even heard any of their music. Shock and horror, I know!

Okay, maybe all the exclamation points are overkill, but they really aren't. There is no such thing as too excited when it's Quinn, Jepha, and Bert. I kind of love Dan too, but he's just not up there yet.

Because she's a MAJOR PAIN IN THE ASS, Kari/bleed_glitter demanded I post pictures. However, I was given stipulations. I'm not allowed to make her look stupid, post pictures of her where she looks fat, or generally, embarrass her horribly in front of all you people.

BUT, she forgets that's what I do. So, she's just going to have to deal with life. It sucks, the end.

Under the cut you will find pictures of Kari's impromptu visit to see me in NY and go to Buffalo for Warped Tour. You will hear about and see us act like infants at an elementary school part (I almost died on a slide, true story) and get the skinny on the bands we saw. Unfortunately, it wasn't scandalous. Unless you count me eating barricade when a crowd surfer landed on my face.
